Rooms at Branksome Park

Here at Branksome Park Care Centre, we firmly believe that a person’s bedroom is their sanctuary. At Branksome Park we are able to offer 4 rooms for larger wheelchairs, up to 1200mm wide and overhead hoisting up to 28 stone.

Bariatric rooms have doorway width of 1300mm into the room and into the shower room. Double doors out to courtyard and access around the home. A full range of bariatric equipment can be provided.

There are “safe” areas available for people with memory impairment or cognitive deficit. The home enjoys an open door policy and many of its rooms have doors onto the extensive gardens.

All rooms are spacious and airy, and fitted with a comfortable bed, quality furniture and modern equipment. We make sure that each person has all the equipment they need to help caregivers assist them with their daily life, including ceiling hoists and mobility aids.

Because the people who use our services live in suites, the spacious communal areas incorporate a lounge area, a dining area, and a drinks and snacks station. A kitchenette is also included where our clients or caregivers can make cups of tea.

All the communal areas in Branksome Park Care centre have been decorated and furnished throughout to the highest standard. Using calm and warm colours, we provide a homely and inviting environment in which the people who use our services can relax and enjoy the company of others.

Noticeboards are dotted around the home; they are a communication hub where people can discover what the days’ activities are, see what’s on the menu and look at photographs from previous days’ out.

We pride ourselves on being the cleanest and most hygienic luxury Nursing home Poole has to offer. Our support team are on hand 24 hours a day to make sure communal areas are sparkling clean and smelling fresh.
